2 key players missing as Real Madrid name squad for Super Cup

Real Madrid have unveiled their 23-man squad for the Super Cup clash against Valencia.

Both sides will make a trip to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup final.

However, two Real Madrid players are missing from the squad through injury – David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni.

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, Luis Lopez.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militao, Vallejo, Nacho, Odriozola, Lucas Vazquez, Rudiger, Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Valverde, Ceballos, Mario Martin.

Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Mariano.

Castilla midfielder Mario Martin has been included in the squad, and Mariano is also back after an injury lay-off.

Madrid will face Valencia in the semi-final on January 11. The final will be held on Sunday.
