Real Madrid booked their spot in the final of the Super Cup courtesy of a penalty-shootout victory over Valencia in the semi-finals on Wednesday night.
Arch-rivals Barcelona also booked a place in the final, after beating Real Betis on penalties in their clash on Thursday night.
The match will take place on Sunday, January 15.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that Eduardo Camavinga, Lucas Vazquez and Eder Militao are all injury doubts for Saturday’s Spanish Super Cup final.
“Camavinga had a knock on his knee, Lucas Vazquez sprained his ankle and Militao felt dizzy. Militao is fine because I’ve spoken to him. We have to evaluate Camavinga and Lucas Vazquez seems to have the most serious injury,” Ancelotti told reporters.
“On Sunday we’ll have a competitive defence. Carvajal and Mendy have shown that they’ve gotten over their injuries. We just have to evaluate Lucas Vazquez and Militao.”
