Real Madrid pick player to replace injured Lucas Vazquez

Real Madrid may have to do without injured star Lucas Vazquez for up to a month.

Following tests carried out on the Spaniard, he has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle and will be out for a month.

Real Madrid have picked Vinicius Tobias to replace Lucas Vazquez in the first team after he picked up an injury in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Valencia.

According to Marca, Carlo Ancelotti will draft in Vinicius to provide cover for Dani Carvajal. The Brazilian has impressed in Castilla this season with 20 games and four assists under his belt.

Vinicius Real Madrid from Shakhtar Donestk last summer on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Vinicius Tobias is a Brazilian youngster, and he’s 18 years old.
