Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he has been quite unfair to Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
The 20-year-old has been mostly used as a second choice player in midfield, and has often been axed when starting a game.
Eduardo Camavinga didn’t play the two Supercopa matches in full, as Ancelotti decided to sub him off.
The Frenchman seemed decent defensively in the Clasico final, but was eventually subbed off at half-time, and Ancelotti has admitted it was unfair to the young midfielder.
“It’s true that I haven’t always been fair with Camavinga and his substitutions, but he is going to be very important for the team,” Carlo Ancelotti told the media.
“I took him off against Valencia because of the yellow card and against Barca to put more players in attack. He’s doing well and I have a lot of confidence in him.”
