Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti was unhappy with Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, following his action against Villarreal.
Ancelotti subbed off Rodrygo for Marco Asensio in the 57th minute of the match against Villarreal.
Shortly after the substitution, Carlo Ancelotti was seen visibly angry with Rodrygo, and scolded the Brazilian.
Sources claim Ancelotti told the Brazilian: “You have to shake my hand, understood?”
Rodrygo on his part, was unhappy that the coach subbed him off, and decided to walk past him.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, Ancelotti explained the situation: “I thought that Rodrygo had a muscle overload before the break so I decided not to risk it.
“He’s learned his lesson, he did not shake my hand because he forgot, I think, but this doesn’t change anything for me.”
