According to reports, Real Madrid star Marco Asensio is in contact with Barcelona.

Asensio’s contract will wind up in June, and the 27-year-old is yet to reach an agreement with the club.

According to Sport, Asensio’s priority is to stay in Madrid, but he’s also open to a move to Barcelona.

Asensio has since changed his long time agent, Horacio Gaggioli, earlier this season to sign with Jorge Mendes.

Jorge Mendes has a good relationship with many clubs, including Barca, and is said to be communicating with Real Madrid’s rivals, who seem interested in the Madrid player.

Barca and Mendes are said to have discussed Asenso’s situation, and Barca would be delighted if he’s a free agent.

No deal has been finalised yet,  and Asensio is assessing the situation from both sides.
