According to a report by AS, Real Madrid technical coaching staff want head coach Carlo Ancelotti to give more playing time to young midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
Camavinga has mostly been used from the bench, or often gets subbed off on the few occasions he has started.
The 20-year-old has however seriously impressed in recent games for the club.
His recent performances have left the coaching staff impressed, and they believe Camavinga deserves to start more games.
Also, with doubts surrounding the futures of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, as well as their age, it would make more sense to utilise Camavinga often and prepare him ahead of time for the role.
Meanwhile, Ancelotti recently singled out Camavinga for praise, following his performance against Athletic Bilbao.
He said: “I’d like to single out Eduardo Camavinga. His performance was spectacular.”
Ancelotti has also ruled out an exit for Camavinga, with Arsenal said to be very interested in his signing.
