Real Madrid defeated Atletico Madrid in the Madrid derby on Thursday night, as both sides played the Copa del Rey quarter-final clash.
One of the highlights of the evening, was Alvaro Morata scoring against his former club.
The Spain international was a Real Madrid player from 2008 to 2014 and from 2016 to 2017.
Morata opened the scoring in the 17th minute, and during his celebration, Morata closed the ‘M’ letter at the back of his jersey with his hand.
It is supposed that the former Madridista was actually trying to close ‘MO’, leaving the word ‘RATA’ [‘rat’] on his back – as some Real Madrid fans have been calling him a rat since he moved to Atletico Madrid.
Morata used to kiss the Real Madrid badge during his time at the club, but his loyalty has been put to the sword since he moved to the club’s crosstown rivals.
