Rodrygo has mostly featured on the left side of attack for Real Madrid.
However, against Atletico Madrid last time out, the Brazilian went on a mazy run and beat through the Atletico midfield and defence before going on to score the equaliser.
Ancelotti has revealed that he’s now trying something new with the Brazilian, along with Luka Modric and Marco Asensio.
Ancelotti said: “Rodrygo’s position? I like the 4-2-3-1 formation.
“We used Rodrygo, Modric and Asensio as attacking midfielders. We are thinking about it. It’s surely the best position for Rodrygo.”
Against Atletico, Ancelotti played a new system, with Rodrygo mostly playing close to Karim Benzema upfront, and Ancelotti believes it just might be his best position.
