Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that one of his major secrets at Real Madrid is making use of his entire squad.

Speaking after the win against Valencia, Ancelotti explained the reason for some of his starting line-up and substitutions.

The Italian side: “If I sub a player it’s not because he’s not playing well but because I have resources on the bench.

“Sometimes I don’t bring Rodrygo on from the start because I think I have another option to change the game from the bench and change its dynamic.

“This is what enabled us to win the Champions League from the bench.”
