Real Madrid were beaten 1-0 away at Mallorca.

With Eder Militao and Karim Benzema absent from the clash due to injury, Thibaut Courtois also got injured during warm-up, with Andriy Lunin getting his first League appearance since October.

With 13 minutes played, Nacho Fernandez looped header gave the away side the lead.

The Los Blancos struggled to penetrate the home team, and found it difficult to create chances in the first-half.

During the second period, Madrid added more intensity, and deservedly won a penalty on the hour mark.

Marco Asensio missed from the spot, and for all of Madrid’s pressure, Madrid couldn’t score a goal.

Real Madrid lost three points and Barcelona could extend their lead at the top to eight points, if they beat Sevilla later today.
