Marco Asensio is nearing the end of his contract with Real Madrid, and the Spain international is attracting massive interest from French giants, Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Relevo’s credible Sergio Santos and Matteo Moretto, PSG approached Real Madrid over Asensio on transfer deadline day.

However, Real Madrid declined any negotiation even before the Parisians could submit an official offer.

Asensio’s contract would wind up at the end of the season, but Real Madrid plan on sorting out a new deal for him before the end of the season.

Asensio himself is keen to continue at Real Madrid, but the 26-year-old wants assurance of being a key player.

PSG will try to push for another transfer, but Real Madrid will try to sort a new contract before the end of the season.
