According to reports, Carlo Ancelotti is in real danger of losing his job.

Ancelotti understands that the expectations are sky-high at Santiago Bernabeu, and knows that losing the Supercopa to Barcelona and being far behind the Blaugrana will send the wrong message to the powers at the Bernabeu.

It was reported last month that Florentino Pérez was furious after Real Madrid’s Spanish Super Cup defeat to Barcelona and Carlo Ancelotti and fitness coach Antonio Pintus were on the receiving end of his disappointment during the flight back to Madrid, which created a tense atmosphere around the camp.

The coach knows that there is no longer a consensus around him within the club after the Supercopa final loss to Barcelona. The Madrid officials are concerned by the unconvincing performances as well as the poor fitness level of the squad.
