According to reports from ESPN Brasil’s Bruno Vicari, Carlo Ancelotti has agreed terms to become Brazil’s new head coach.

So far, there is only a verbal agreement between the two parties, as Ancelotti has not signed any deal officially with the Brazilian Football Association yet.

Ancelotti’s contract with Real Madrid expires in July 2024, and the Italian is keen on fulfilling his current deal with Real Madrid before becoming Brazil’s head coach, report reliable Mario Cortegana and Jose Luis Sanchez.

Ancelotti will talk with Florentino Perez and the Real Madrid bosses in June, to discuss his future plans.

Brazil, however, will wait for the Italian if he decides to stay at Real Madrid for another season.

It has also been agreed between the two parties,  that they will not announce the agreement publicly at the moment, because Ancelotti is tied to Real Madrid.

According to reports from Brazil, Ancelotti would sign a 3-year deal with Brazil starting from July 2023.

If it happens thus, the 63-year-old will most likely leave Real Madrid in the summer.
