Toni Kroos future remains uncertain, and Real Madrid want to keep the 33-year-old beyond this season.

The German international, who has seen it all, would have his contract expire at the end of the season, and he’s yet to make a decision on his future.

There have been rumours that Kroos may retire at the end of the season, or seek a different challenge.

Kroos had vowed to make his decision known at the end of the season. However, after winning the Club World Cup, he has now said that he may continue at the club.

“Continue at Real Madrid next season? I’m thinking about it…” Toni Kroos said after the Club World Cup final.

“I’m always in contact with the club, if there’s anything official you’re going to know.

“My retirement? I’m thinking whether or not to continue next season. It won’t take many months to communicate a decision.”
