Real Madrid players have resumed training following the club’s Club World Cup success.

The Los Blancos will resume La Liga action on Wednesday, with a home game against Elche.

During today’s training session, midfielder Toni Kroos was absent, as he suffers from gastroenteritis.

As reported by Jose Luis Sanchez, the German has had a fever for two days and won’t feature against Elche on Wednesday.

Also missing in training are Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy and Vinicius Jr.

For Vinicius, the Brazilian is okay, and was only granted permission to have some rest.

After receiving his fifth yellow card against Mallorca, Vinicius was automatically suspended for the next game.

Thibaut Courtois and Lucas Vazquez are both back in training, while Eder Militao was spotted as well.
