Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has given his team update ahead of the La Liga clash against Elche.

While addressing the media on Tuesday, Ancelotti revealed that Thibaut Courtois, Toni Kroos and Eden Hazard won’t play against Elche.

He said: “Courtois has started training today and is not available for tomorrow’s game, but I think he will be on Saturday against Osasuna.

“Militão was already fit for the final and Lucas Vázquez is back. We have the absence of Kroos who has a problem. Hazard trained on Thursday, but he has a knee problem. I’ve spoken to him, but there is no special treatment for any of the  players.”

Vinicius would as well miss the game due to suspension.

Carlo Ancelotti said: “Vini is not available tomorrow and someone else will play in this position, which will be Rodrygo.”

Carlo Ancelotti also revealed that he’s planning for Eduardo Camavinga to play as a left-back in this game.

He said: “I’m thinking about him playing as a full back. Camavinga has played well and can play at the back, but we have to bear in mind that he is a very strong midfielder.

“If we have an emergency he can play there. He has also played there because Alaba has been out, but now he’s back and he is another option. Just like Nacho, who played in the Spanish Super Cup. In case of emergency, Camavinga will play as a full back, if we don’t have any problems, he will play in the midfield.”
