Real Madrid defeated Elche 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday night.
For this game, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti opted to start Eduardo Camavinga ahead of Aurelien Tchouameni.
Camavinga indeed had a good game and was a beast on the pitch, winning most of his duels.
Tchouameni entered the pitch late in the second half, as he replaced Federico Valverde in the 68th minute.
Explaining his decision, Ancelotti said after the game: “Tchouameni on the bench? Camavinga is a bit better right now in terms of form.
“But Tchouameni will start the next game.”
Real Madrid’s next game is against Osasuna away from home on Saturday, February 18.
