According to a recent report, Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, will focus on signing Jude Bellingham who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer.
Chelsea are interested in Declan Rice, but The Telegraph claims that the West London club may have conceded defeat to Arsenal in the race to sign the West Ham captain.
Real Madrid are heavy favourites to sign the teenager, and the 19-year-old is also said to be keen on moving to the Santiago Bernabéu.
However, report claims that both Todd Boehly and co-owner, Behdad Eghbali will “move heaven and earth” to try and sign Bellingham instead.
The report adds that the two men were in attendance during England’s World Cup match against Iran, where Bellingham scored his first goal for the Three Lions.
It was also later claimed in a report on The Sun, that Boehly was ‘obsessed’ with signing Bellingham.
Chelsea are however, not considered favourites for the 19-year-old. The likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain are all believed to be in front.
