Two late goals from Federico Valverde and Marco Asensio sealed the victory for Real Madrid to close the gap on Barcelona to five points.

Speaking after the game against Osasuna, Carlo Ancelotti was glad with how his team stayed focus all through the game.

Ancelotti said: “I really liked how solid the team was, they did not lose their focus in the most difficult moments.

“It was a complete game, it was important to win here to stay alive in the league.

“It was an equal game, but we are happy. We suffered when we needed to suffer and then scored at the best moment, we are very pleased.”
