Champions League: Confirmed Real Madrid squad to face Liverpool

Real Madrid have announced their UEFA Champions League squad for the upcoming round-of-16 tie against Real Madrid.

Both sides will meet at Anfield on Tuesday, as they look to take a step into the quarter finals of the competition.

Ahead of the meeting, Madrid have released a 23-man squad for their trip to Anfield.

Toni Kroos is set to miss out on the trip, alongside Aurelien Tchouameni, as the pair continue to battle to recover from illnesses.

Meanwhile, Karim Benzema is back into the side, after bouncing back from an injury setback. Young talents, Alvaro Rodriguez and Mario Martin, have also been included in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the match.

Defenders: Carvajal, E. Militao, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Odriozola, Vazquez and Rudiger.

Midfielders: Modric, Camavinga, Valverde, Ceballos, Mario Martín and Arribas.

Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Rodrygo and Alvaro.
