Real Madrid showed their class against the top Premier League sides last season, as the Los Blancos defeated Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool to win the Champions League last season.
Antonio Rudiger was part of the Chelsea team that saw defeat to Real Madrid, despite having gone up 3-0 in the Champions League second leg quarter-final clash at the Santiago Bernabéu.
After enjoying victory with the Los Blancos against Liverpool, Rudiger who joined the club as a free agent from Chelsea, was pleased to be on the winning side.
“Crazy, this is just crazy. I have never experienced a night like this in football. Luckily this time I’m on the right side,” Rudiger told the press after the Liverpool game.
“We did not start good. I did not start good but second half, we were fantastic.”
