Former Real Madrid boss, Fabio Capello, has blamed Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool’s 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
The Reds suffered a surprise 5-2 loss to the reigning champions of Europe, despite initially being 2-0 up.
Vinicius Jr scored a first half brace to level the scores for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, before second-half-goals from Eder Militao and Karim Benzema, swung the tie in favour of the visitors.
Capello slammed Liverpool’s approach to the game, and blamed it on their manager Jurgen Klopp.
Capello said, “It must be said that Liverpool are a former team.
“They go slowly, they do not press, Real Madrid’s chances for goals have been ridiculous and let’s not talk about the goal conceded from a free-kick…
“The coach is at fault for that.”
