Real Madrid have confirmed that Vinicius Jr has won their Player of the Month award for February.

Vinicius was nominated alongside Karim Benzema, Fede Valverde, and Marco Asensio for the award.

It was the 22-year-old Brazilian who ended up notching the award.

Vinicius featured in all seven games across all competitions for Madrid in February, and he scored six goals and provided three assists.

The Brazilian was in stunning form as he scored a brace and assist in the thrilling 5-2 win over Liverpool in the Champions League.

Vinicius also did well in Madrid’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign, scoring three goals and providing an assist in two games.
