Xavi reacts as Barcelona had just 36 percent possession against Real Madrid

Real Madrid dominated Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabéu, as Barcelona were starved off the ball and had only 36 percent possession.

Barcelona had just 36% possession and registered just 4 shots in total, but were able to win the game 1-0.

An unfortunate Eder Militao own goal in the first-half aided the win for the away side, in a game Madrid dominated from start to finish.

Xavi was asked after the game whether he was satisfied with the performance of his team.

He said: “I’m satisfied with the result, but not with our match. We can’t let our rival take the ball away from us.

“We were not able to keep the ball. It was difficult for us to win duels in possession, but we defended very well.”
