For all of Real Madrid’s superior play against Real Betis, the Los Blancos could only get a point from the game.

Madrid are now 9 points behind, with 14 league games left to play this season.

Speaking after the game with Betis, Rodrygo admitted he was disappointed with the result, but also insisted that the title race isn’t over.

The Brazilian forward said: “We’re disappointed because we performed well and created chances. We just couldn’t get the goal. We played very well despite playing with a new line-up. We have to keep working hard”.

“I’m fine physically. I couldn’t play against Atlético due to a minor injury, I played a bit against Barcelona and today I played the full 90 minutes. I felt good.”

Rodrygo added: “LaLiga isn’t over. We’re still alive, but it’s tough. We’ll carry on going and we’ve still got Barcelona to play against.”
