Karim Benzema has been suffering many injury crisis in recent years, and reports now claim that the 35-year-old will be out for some time due to an ankle injury.
According to fresh reports, the French striker took a heavy blow to his ankle and the discomfort has forced him to miss Real Madrid’s last two training sessions.
Benzema has been doing some work in the gym this week, but he is now a major doubt for Real Madrid’s home game against Espanyol on Saturday.
Real Madrid are now hoping that that main striker recovers on time to play in the El Clasico next weekend and also the Champions League clash against Liverpool.
35-year-old Benzema has suffered fitness issues this season, and has only played 27 games so far. Nevertheless, the veteran striker has chipped in with 18 goals and five assists this season.
