Real Madrid could reportedly move for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku during this summer’s transfer window.

Madrid are expected to sign a new forward ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, with Mariano Diaz set to leave on a free transfer, while youngster Alvaro Rodriguez is still only 18, and is one for the future.

Without a new striker, Madrid won’t have a replacement for Benzema when he’s out injured.

According to Fichajes, Lukaku has emerged as a target for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, with the Belgian desperate to leave the Blues on a permanent basis this summer.

Chelsea signed up Lukaku for a club record fee of £97.5m, but loaned him back to Inter after just one season.
