Vinicius Jr produced another fine display as Real Madrid came from behind to beat Espanyol 3-1.
Vinicius scored the leveller for Real Madrid in the 22nd minute. Ten minutes after his goal, Vinicius was given a yellow card for his first foul of the game.
The card was Vinicius 8th yellow card of the league season, and 12th total this term.
Interestingly, only Alex Baena (9) has received more yellow cards than Vinicius in the La Liga this term.
After the match, the Brazilian commented on the card, as he believes he’s being unfairly treated.
Vinicius said: “I don’t want the referees to protect me but I want them to do the correct thing.
“This always happens to Real Madrid and to me. I can’t be the most fouled player and the one who receives the most yellow cards.
“They book me after the very first foul I make. I tried to have a cool head so that I can happen my friends.”
