4 Liverpool players ruled out of Champions League clash with Real Madrid

Liverpool will be without key duo Thiago Alcantara and Luis Diaz for their upcoming UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Wednesday, according to the Evening Standard.

The two key Liverpool players are injured, and will continue to work on their recovery until they get the green light from Liverpool’s medical team.

Also, fringe players Joe Gomez and Naby Keita are also out of contention for a place in the match, as the two players are currently injured.

The report adds that Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Jordan Henderson could all start at the Santiago Bernabeu, as Jurgen Klopp considers using the same side that featured in the 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Reds will go into the clash with Madrid, hoping to overturn their 5-2 loss at Anfield three weeks ago.
