Following the case of Barcelona and the alleged corruption case with ex referee chief Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira, Barcelona have now been charged with ‘sporting corruption’.

Barcelona were found to have made payments to the former vice-president of Spain’s refereeing committee, Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira.

Catalan Sports Court president, Joan Maria Xiol, has claimed that Barcelona risk relegation from all European competitions, and also past trophies won within that timeframe.

Surprisingly, the corrupt Barcelona chiefs have blamed their corruption on Real Madrid.

The past Barca chiefs were convinced that La Liga referees favoured Real Madrid, so they wanted to make things ‘more neutral’, in their defence.

The payments were a secret matter. Some of the presidents’ trusted men barely knew anything about it because the bosses wanted to ‘protect’ them, as they explain.

“The payments [to the vice-president of the referee committee] were carried out in self-defence,” Josep Bartomeu, Sandro Rosell and some other former Barcelona directors have revealed, per El Mundo.
