Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand was in awe of the performance exhibited by Eduardo Camavinga in Real Madrid’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool.

Camavinga completed all of his 5 long balls against Liverpool, and also won 4 of his 7 ground duels in the Champions League tie.

Ferdinand was completely impressed with his performance.

“Camavinga was exceptional. He was so calm on the ball, picked the right pass every time,” Rio Ferdinand told BT Sport after Real Madrid beat Liverpool 1-0.

Carlo Ancelotti has recently hailed Camavinga as ‘untouchable’.

He said: “He’s very important.

“He is doing very well and plays very good matches. He plays so well that he makes mistakes forgotten. Against Espanyol he made a very obvious mistake in a position that is not his, but then he plays so well that everyone forgets.

“It is a normal progression. He is untouchable today and will be in the future.”
