Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has asked for neutrality and honesty, ahead of Sunday’s El Clasico clash.

Amid Barcelona’s corruption case, Courtois has called for “honesty” from match officials.

He said, “In the locker room we didn’t talk about anything. We are far from that.

“We just hope that the referee who whistles is honest. You can be wrong, but be honest.”

The Real Madrid goalkeeper also stated: “Yesterday Hernández Hernández was in the VAR and asked for a hand from Leipzig but I want to ask him about a clearer hand that was in the derby and he did not whistle, why?”
