Real Madrid will face Chelsea in the quarter-final of the Champions League, and could stand a repeat of last season’s semi-final clash, if Manchester City beat Bayern Munich in their own clash.

Man City goalkeeper Ederson, has revealed that he wants to meet and beat Real Madrid in the semi-final, so Carlo Ancelotti can be sacked.

According to Ederson, he’s so keen for Ancelotti to become the Brazilian national team head coach.

“I was talking with Casemiro, with Vinicius and with Eder Militao about the big possibility of Carlo Ancelotti coming so… let’s go after this result [Man City beating Madrid] so he can come as soon as possible,” Ederson said laughingly.

“What I have been told about him is that he’s an outstanding coach, that everybody in the group likes him.

“And he has a winning career, just check his resume. We’ll see soon if he will be here or not.”
