Brazil confirm interest in Carlo Ancelotti

Brazil players have long been talking about Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, and their desire for him to be their new head coach.

Ednaldo Rodrigues, the president of the Brazilian Football Federation, has confirmed Brazil have interest in appointing Carlo Ancelotti for the vacant coaching position as Selecao head coach.

Speaking to Reuters, Ednaldo Rodrigues said: “We are going to have faith in God, wait for the right moment and see if we can make it happen as we look for the new coach of the Brazilian national team.

“We will be very ethical in our approach and respect existing contracts.

“Ancelotti is unanimously respected by the players. Wherever I go in Brazil, in every stadium, he is the coach our fans want the most.”

Meanwhile, Ancelotti has a contract with Real Madrid until 2024.
