Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois picked up an injury on international duty with Belgium.

Initial tests carried out show that the goalkeeper suffered a minor strain in the adductor, and had to head back to Madrid for further medical check and treatment.

Courtois is now in line to make this weekend’s clash with Real Valladolid.

The Real Madrid goalkeeper joined training today at Valdebebas.

Courtois is now clear to resume club action this weekend, and will also feature in next week’s Copa del Rey semi-final second-leg against Barcelona and also the Champions League quarterfinal with Chelsea.
