Real Madrid lost the first leg 1-0 at the Santiago Bernabéu, and must win the game on Wednesday.

According to Defensa Central, Florentino Perez visited the Real Madrid dressing room after the 6-0 win over Real Valladolid.

The Real Madrid president was pleased with the performance ahead of the Copa del Rey clash against Barcelona, and believes that the team can turn the tie around in Barcelona.

Perez had a talk with hat-trick hero Karim Benzema and reportedly told him: “Karim, I’m serious… At this level and with these goals you’ve scored, we’ll come back in the Cup on Wednesday. We can do it.”

Indeed, Madrid can win the tie at the Camp Nou on Wednesday.
