Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo got worked up after coming up against Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr.

Araujo is often given the task of marking Vinicius during El Clasico games, and while it seemed effective in the past, it wasn’t so this time.

Vinicius riled up the Barca players with his antics,  and it seemed to get the better of Araujo.

Speaking after the game, Araujo told Vinicius to focus on his football and stop talking.

Speaking about their in-game scuffles, he said: “I always try to respect my opponents, but I got a little hot tonight. When someone doesn’t respect me, I have to respond.

“Vinicius? He is a great player, but he should focus on playing football. He spent the whole game telling our players this and that.”

Vinicius got the last laugh, as he scored the opening and also assisted Karim Benzema in the big win – leaving the Camp Nou crowd silenced.
