Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti seemed very sure of getting a victory against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.

Madrid were beaten 1-0 by Barça in the reverse fixture at the Bernabeu, and needed to turn the tie around away from home – which they did emphatically.

For Ancelotti, it was a big game which was won by his players with big personality.

The Real Madrid boss said after the game: “If you don’t make it complete, you can’t win 0-4 here. In the first half we had difficulties at the start.

“The first goal changed the dynamics of the whole match.

“It’s a game in which personality and experience is a very important aspect. In the line-up you have to mix energy: with Rodrygo, with Valverde, with Camavinga, with the experience of Vini, Modric, Kroos. They played a spectacular game.”
