Carlo Ancelotti motivated his players for the game against Barcelona, and the outcome was indeed laudable.

Barca had won the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final tie 1-0, but the Los Blancos did the job at the Santiago Bernabéu with a 4-0 win away from home.

Ancelotti got his players to believe that beating Barcelona at the Camp Nou was very achievable.

The Real Madrid boss told his players before the game: “They haven’t been better than us, neither in the first leg of the Cup at the Bernabeu nor in the League at the Camp Nou.

“We didn’t deserve to lose and we’re going to prove it and don’t forget that it’s a final.”

Real Madrid will now face Osasuna in the final of the Copa Del Rey on May 6.
