Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski came close to joining Real Madrid in 2013, a leaked document has revealed.

Lewandowski was to leave then club Borussia Dortmund as a free agent, and was offered around £166,000-a-week to go join Madrid – as well as a hefty £10million signing-on fee.

However, the offer came with some restrictive clauses.

The clauses included a ban on him going paragliding.

At Real Madrid, Lewandowski would have been banned contractually from skiing, paragliding, climbing, going on a motorboat or even riding a motorbike.

Due to the clauses in the contract, Lewandowski opted to sign for Bayern Munich where he’d spent eight years, and would score a whopping 344 goals in 375 games for the German giants.

After his eighth years in Munich, he’d then move to Real Madrid rivals, Barcelona.
