Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez has often bemoaned his situation this season.

The 33-year-old will be out of contract this summer, and doesn’t want to sign a new deal, as he claims he hasn’t been treated fairly under Carlo Ancelotti.

According to Nacho, he’s as good as any defender at the club, but it wasn’t the case against Villarreal.

The 33-year-old looked jittery whenever Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze ran at him, and he was heavily exposed by the Nigerian all game.

Nacho didn’t give a good account of himself, and was the worst player at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday night.
