Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has given his verdict on the Chelsea squad ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash between Real Madrid and Chelsea at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ancelotti believes Chelsea have a good squad, and admitted that his side suffered against the Blues last season.

Ancelotti said: “We suffered a lot last year (against Chelsea). Due to different circumstances in the game we, had a tough time even though we had an advantage.

“We have to respect the team and the club, they have very good players and even if they are not going through a good patch, they are highly motivated and they will do their best. They have a very high quality squad.”
