Chelsea lost 2-0 to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night, as the Los Blancos hold a perfect lead ahead of the second leg.

It was an easy win for Real Madrid, as Carlo Ancelotti’s men dominated the game from start to finish.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has now revealed what Chelsea should have done differently.

The second leg will be played next Tuesday at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard told BT Sport: “It’s not easy to come here [in that mindset] because I think there were some opportunities in possession to use the size of the pitch a bit more and be more aggressive down the side of the pitch. Things that we can maybe do next week.”
