Chelsea are in their worst possible state, as the Blues suffered yet another defeat.
Following their 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday, Chelsea were beaten at home by Brighton on Saturday, with the Seagulls getting a 2-1 victory in London.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard had warned Real Madrid that the game will be different at Stamford Bridge, but it may not be so.
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly appeared to have had a row with Chelsea fans as tensions remained high at a toxic Stamford Bridge.
The new co-owner was in the directors’ box as Chelsea lost yet again.
Boehly was pictured gesticulating and seemingly arguing with frustrated Blues fans who made their opinions known to him at Stamford Bridge.
The American billionaire engaged in conversation with the disgruntled supporters as they leaned over the barrier from the tier above, raining harsh words in the direction of their new owner.
Brighton fans made matters worse as they chanted at new interim manager Frank Lampard: “You’re getting sacked in the morning.”
The result meant interim boss Frank Lampard has lost all three games since replacing Graham Potter.
Up next for Chelsea is the visit of Real Madrid on Tuesday.
