Chelsea manager Frank Lampard believes his Chelsea were the better team at Stamford Bridge against Real Madrid.
Chelsea were again beaten 2-0 by Real Madrid, but the Chelsea manager insists his side had enough chances to win the game.
Lampard said: “In 60 minutes, against a world-class opposition out there, we were the better team and had chances.”
He added: “It was a mistake from us for the goal really (Real Madrid’s first goal), to give them that chance. We were ready to be a bit more aggressive in the game.”
Real Madri won the tie 4-0 on aggregate, and would meet the winner of Bayern Munich vs Manchester City.
