New Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has lost all three matches he has managed since taking over as Chelsea’s interim manager.
Following their 2-1 defeat to Brighton, new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly reportedly blasted the players’ efforts in the dressing room.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was also asked about Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly blasting the Chelsea players in the dressing room immediately after Saturday’s defeat to Brighton at Stamford Bridge.
Ancelotti admitted that it could get the players to become motivated.
He stated: “I think that could motivate the players. Things aren’t going so well at Chelsea and that could inspire the players to do better. If the club wishes to do that, I wouldn’t have a problem.
“If the president came down after every game, I’d be pleased. He has the right to know the decisions the coach is making. It’s within the club’s rights to know what’s happening.”
