Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo has been a revelation since sealing a move from Ecuadorian side Independiente del Valle.
Caicedo joined Brighton as a teenager two years ago, and has blossomed into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
The Ecuadorian was actually close to signing for Arsenal in January, and Chelsea was also keen on his signature.
The highly-rated midfielder has admitted that his dream is to play for Real Madrid.
“I would like to play for Real Madrid. It has always been my dream,” Moises Caicedo has told Carrusel.
Caicedo’s current deal with Brighton expires in two years, and he’s definitely one that may wear the Los Blancos shirt in a few years time.
Caicedo has also revealed how hurt he felt as his transfer broke down in January.
“I was really close to going. I suffered a lot. I’m sure I’m going to have many more opportunities,” he told The Telegraph.
“It was tough. At the beginning when I didn’t end up going, lots of people would make fun of me on Instagram. People treated me badly. I didn’t check my social media because it would hurt me to see things.”
