David Alaba and Karim Benzema were both taken off with knocks during Real Madrid’s second leg clash against Chelsea on Tuesday.
Alaba was taken off at half-time, while Benzema was taken off after 70 minutes.
Talking to the press after the game, Carlo Ancelotti revealed that the Austrian has suffered another hamstring injury. However, Benzema’s situation was less serious.
Carlo Ancelotti said: “Alaba has had a problem, his hamstring was tight and we had made the change at the end of the first half. Karim had a blow, a stomp on his foot, it started to bother him at the end and we subbed him off.”
Alaba remains a doubt for the La Liga clash against Celta Vigo on Saturday, April 22.
