Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger believes Real Madrid can outbid their rivals, including Liverpool in the race to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

The Spanish champions are tipped as favourites for the 19-year-old’s signature, especially given their status in European football, and their participation in the UEFA Champions League.

It is also reported that Liverpool no longer harbour an interest in the young midfielder because they don’t want to be involved in a bidding war, but Wenger also thinks that Madrid are certainly more financially equipped to seal a deal for the youngster.

According to the Ex-Arsenal manager, it’s in Real Madrid’s DNA to sign the best players.

Wenger said on BeIN Sports: “They will be in the market for one or two stars because that is Real Madrid’s DNA.

“They can also put pressure on their big sponsors by saying to Adidas: ‘If we get the biggest stars, we want you to increase the sponsorship’.”
